The holiday season brings with it great joy, family time, and for many folks lots of added stress.
If your gift list is longer than 3, 4, 5 people, and your bank account is not unlimited, filling the list can pose a challenge and balancing act along a fine line of being budget conscious, creative, timely, and original all at the same time.
This year I declared (to myself silently in thought) that I would no longer wait until the last minute and Amazon Prime gifts I just couldn’t find in time.
I really, truly wanted to shop local in the RGV this year.
I wanted to take the time to think through what my family would enjoy receiving and appreciate for a long time.

An extra TIP when using this gift list is to cover the name of the gift with washi tape so wandering eyes don’t accidentally see what it is they might be receiving for Christmas.
