Pumpkin Patches in the RGV

5

It’s that time of the year again!  I’m not talking about pumpkin-spiced everything (although that is one thing I totally look forward to throughout the year), but I am talking about pumpkin patch season! Some patches have already opened up this week.

Are you looking for that perfect pumpkin? Take your pick at a pumpkin patch where there are hundreds of them, from tiny to large! Maybe you just want to take some cute “fall” photos of your kids. If you are looking for other events, see our guide to Fall Festivals in the RGV. The pumpkin patch is a great place for that! I snapped some photos of my little one today, quite hurriedly because the mosquitos were bad! Be sure to spray on some bug repellant before going out there.

2) First United Methodist  Church on 107 and Mon Mack in Edinburg
Opened September 28th – Hours from noon to 8 PM on weekends and 3 PM to 8 PM on weekdays
“Stop by for pictures, play on our playgrounds, run in our maze, or sample our amazing Pumpkin Bread (oi, my diet will wait till November), or find a home for one of our beautiful pumpkins.”

3) First United Methodist Church on 321 E. Harrison Ave. in Harlingen
Opens October 11th- Hours are 8:30 AM-8PM Saturdays, 12:30PM-8PM Sundays, and during the week they will be open from 8:30AM-12:30PM then 3:30PM-8PM

4) First United Methodist Church on 1225 Boca Chica Blvd. in Brownsville

These are the ones that I know of so far.  If you know of any other location of a pumpkin patch, please do share with us!
