We are a tuition-free K-8 public charter school providing an innovative educational choice to families and students, free of charge. Our elementary school is focused on individual attention. Our program is academically successful and character-based, combining traditional curriculum and advanced learning techniques with emphasis on moral values and character development.
Classical offers a distinctly different learning environment to parents and students seeking a traditional core education with special attention paid to personalized learning and character building. We believe parents and the community should be involved in this learning process, which is both rigorous and stimulating, typically conducted in smaller classes and framed within a civic context.

The Nurse Family Partnership Program at Women’s Hospital (NFP-WH) is a free, home-visiting program for first-time, low-income families, in Hidalgo and Willacy county. Our experienced, registered nurses visit with local families, from the time mom’s pregnant, until their baby is two years old. Some of our goals are to encourage quality prenatal care, support full-term pregnancies, provide health and mental health education, facilitate access to local resources, provide early intervention for cognitive and developmental delays, prevent child abuse and neglect, and ultimately strengthen the community through our families.
We are a day school that caters to children ages 0-5 years of age. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to develop the best communication skills possible through strong language and cognitive stimulation. Therefore, we pride ourselves in our state-of-the-art, comprehensive and collaborative approach.
