My name’s Angel Melgoza and I’m a Certified Financial Planner™ located in Rio Grande Valley. Since becoming the first generation college graduate in my family and having my own series of financial misfortunes, I became passionate about life planning and helping others achieve their life goals via financial planning.
After receiving my Masters in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University, my journey to help people achieve financial success led me to practice in San Antonio for while and now the Rio Grande Valley, home to the best tacos in Texas and MyLife Financial.
MyLife Financial is an Independent, Fee-Only Registered Investment Advisory firm located in the Rio Grande Valley serving clients in the South Texas Region and virtually throughout the State. I am currently a Member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) , XY Planning Network (XYPN), and The National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA).
On my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Valerie and our two Cocker Spaniels, Charlie & Sammy. We recently had our first child, Lilly, and are excited to be new parents. When I’m not learning about ways I can enhance the financial planning profession and my solo practice, I love being a new Dad, exercising, reading and watching football (Go Texans and Red Raiders!)
