Dr Ahmed is a board certified pediatrician in General Pediatrics and Pediatric Hospital Medicine. Dr Ahmed received his medical degree from King Edward Medical University, Lahore, Pakistan. He completed his residency in Pediatrics from SUNY Downstate Medical Center at Brooklyn, NY. He has been serving Rio Grande Valley since 2013 as Pediatric Hospitalist. He has extensive experience in treating patients from birth to 21 years of age. At RGV Kidz Clinic we provide comprehensive pediatric care including;

-Sick Visits

-Immunizations

-Sports Physicals

-Management of chronic illnesses.

Dr. Argenal is a Board Certified Pediatrician with over 14 years of experience

Dr. Martin Garza is a Rio Grande Valley native. A graduate from PSJA High School, he went on to receive his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the Univeristy of Texas Pan American in Edinburg. He obtained his Medical Degree from the university of Iowa- College of Medicine in Iowa City, ranked one of the top 10 medical schools in the country. He served his pediatric residency at the University of Texas Health Center in San Antonio.

After completion of his training, Dr. Garza along with his wife Maribel and their three children, Daniel, Leah and Christabel, chose to return home to live and serve the community he grew up in. DLC Pediatrics has been established to provide the best and most advanced healthcare possible for the children of the Rio Grande Valley.

The Nurse Family Partnership Program at Women’s Hospital (NFP-WH) is a free, home-visiting program for first-time, low-income families, in Hidalgo and Willacy county.  Our experienced, registered nurses visit with local families, from the time mom’s pregnant, until their baby is two years old.  Some of our goals are to encourage quality prenatal care, support full-term pregnancies, provide health and mental health education, facilitate access to local resources, provide early intervention for cognitive and developmental delays, prevent child abuse and neglect, and ultimately strengthen the community through our families.
