Peer Tutoring RGV is a group of students working to provide free, virtual, high quality tutoring on a variety of subjects through video conferencing for students across the Rio Grande Valley. They aim to share what they have learned with fellow students across all grade levels including those in elementary and middle school. Our tutorial services are completely free and are done in exchange for community service hours.
PTRGV offers two main methods of tutoring: Homework Help and One on One Tutoring. One on One tutoring offers more detailed and structured tutoring sessions. Tutors meet with you for an hour long session once a week, providing targeted help to address weak areas and prepare for incoming lessons. Homework help offers relaxed 30-60 minute sessions with 2-3 students of the same level and a tutor who will help you understand any confusing concepts or questions. For more information, please email us at [email protected].
