The Nurse Family Partnership Program at Women’s Hospital (NFP-WH) is a free, home-visiting program for first-time, low-income families, in Hidalgo and Willacy county. Our experienced, registered nurses visit with local families, from the time mom’s pregnant, until their baby is two years old. Some of our goals are to encourage quality prenatal care, support full-term pregnancies, provide health and mental health education, facilitate access to local resources, provide early intervention for cognitive and developmental delays, prevent child abuse and neglect, and ultimately strengthen the community through our families.

While my main focus is wedding photography, I love photographing all types of subjects. I take on a limited amount of portrait work and enjoy documenting the smallest of details in my subject(s). My work consists of a mixture of both digital and film work, a slight throwback to a bygone era. I am based out of Texas, and work continuously in the Rio Grande Valley. The International Museum of Art & Science is a Smithsonian Affiliate and fully accredited by the American Alliance of Museums. The museum provides a unique opportunity for visitors to participate in hands-on science exhibits and to learn about original works of art while encouraging creativity and innovation. The IMAS permanent collection includes more than 2,000 natural history and geology specimens and 4,500 folk art and textile objects. The 1,500 fine art works in the permanent collection reflect many countries and artistic movements beyond Mexico, dating from the 16th century to the present.
